Differences between January 2010 and January 2011 have proven to also be quite similar. The median and average sales were also consistent January to January along with the number of new listings onto the market. The average days homes are staying on the market have gotten longer in January 2011 from 43 last January 2010 to 56 January 2011.
So far looks like the same market as last year, our Spring real estate season was all over last year by May. March, April and May recorded Calgary's largest Single Family Home sales in 2010.
